Letter from the President
by
John Kinsfather
It may be winter (36°
on my gauge and about a foot of snow), and our Residential
person, Rick Cavil, is busy working with the County on
better and less damaging ways to achieve Snow Plowing in
Twain Harte, but it's a great time for members of your
Homeowners Board to get some heavy duty "Spring Planning" in
the works.
Jeri Graydon, our Director of Marketing and Website Manager,
is about to undertake a complete overhaul of our homeowners
website (www.twainhartehomeowners.com). Be on the look out
for a new and comprehensive format loaded with informative
updates for Twain Harte.
Hans DeGroot, our Project Manager, is starting to layout our
plans for 2009 where some great new projects will be in the
works. Tib Warner, our Community
Clean Up/Captain
Litter board member is putting together the balance of our
clean-up dates for 2009 (hope to see you there). Tib will
also be our Homeowners representative on the Twain Harte
Design Review Board for this year.
Each season we try to put together an informative lineup of
guest columnists headed up by our District 3 Supervisor Teri
Murison, whom your Board of Directors has voted unanimously
to endorse in her upcoming bid for re-election.
Speaking of your Board of Directors, we have three new
additions for 2009. Jeri Graydon, handling Marketing and
our updated website, Rick Cavil with Residential and Tib
Warner with Community Clean-up and Design Review.
As part of our 2009 Motto "First Impression" we will be
inviting guests from each of the key County departments that
have a direct effect on services to Twain Harte. The first
of these will be from our County Department of Public Works,
Solid Waste Manager, Gretchen Olsen. As you can readily see,
although it may be at this moment, Winter, your board has
many "hot" plans and projects in the works to continue to
"stimulate" the beauty of Twain Harte.
